Strange Little Nonsense
Little Talk is a small coffeeshop in Bekasi, strategically located near Insitu Lake within Vida Bekasi. We derived the name "Little Talk" from the phrase 'small talk,' which refers to an informal, friendly conversation about unimportant subjects, or simply put, a conversation opener. This definition serves as Little Talk’s aphorism: "A good talk begins over coffee." The coffeeshop regularly hosts a series of activities for local communities, including movie screenings, urban farming, community gatherings, and more.
Little Talk’s brandmark employs a slab serif typography approach – sophisticated yet fun. Paired with a coffee stain foreground, it also resembles a speech bubble in the animated version. Little Talk is more than a mark or a logo; we have designed a series of illustrated characters with a touch of quirky storylines that can spark conversations among friends through all printed goods. "The Strange Little Nonsense" is the illustration series created for Little Talk. Little Nonsense could be anyone; it randomly pops up throughout the shop with its quirky gestures and strange expressions.

Little Talk is established as the first store within the Insitu Lakeside Experience, a 25,000-square-meter integrated lakeside commercial park located within Vida Bekasi. The inviting ambiance of Little Talk is achieved through a blend of modern café furniture and natural lighting concepts. Wide windows facing the lake create a seamless transition from the interior to the outdoor landscape, offering a spacious atmosphere to enjoy delicious food or a cup of coffee.
