The Spirit of Inari
Ina Ré is the restaurant within Desa Kitsuné, designed in close alignment with the village’s identity and narrative. The name draws from Inari Okami, the Shinto deity of rice, agriculture, metalwork, and prosperity. Inari is often represented by key symbols such as rice, granary keys, and the kitsune—a fox spirit that serves as Inari’s loyal messenger. The presence of the kitsune links directly to the overarching Desa Kitsuné story, where folklore and hospitality intertwine. Ina Ré extends this narrative into the culinary realm—offering a space where tradition, symbolism, and nourishment converge in a modern dining experience.
The Chevron Tenun
We designed the key visual as a reinterpretation of traditional balinese Endek or Tenun pattern, using a custom pattern derived from the Kitsune chevron. Subtle and symbolic, the chevron is transformed into a traditional visual language—blending folklore with craft, and creating a textile-like rhythm that feels both familiar and quietly mythical.
A Softer Chapter of Desa Kitsuné
We created the identity and narrative for Ina Ré by building on the vibe of Desa Kitsuné, but shifting it toward something calmer and more fitting for a restaurant setting. The direction feels warm, timeless, and carries a touch of modern tropical with a bit of eclectic charm—designed to feel welcoming for both families and more discerning guests. It’s relaxed, thoughtful, and fits naturally into the slower rhythm of dining.
